Edwardian Villa, Duffield
Four separate spaces were worked on in this beautiful Edwardian home for a large family.
Initially nervous of colour, we worked hard before beginning the first project to discover this family’s likes and dislikes, interiors they were drawn to and finally defining and pin pointing their own unique style and individual colour palette.
All rooms were re-decorated with colours and patterns to create interiors sympathetic to the age of this detached villa, whilst creating practical , comfortable rooms for a family to use. Panelling was used in high traffic areas to help with wear and tear.
Bespoke sofas were carefully chosen, antiques, new furniture, artworks, lighting and accessories were selected and layers of pattern were added with commissioned upholstery pieces, cushions and made to measure blinds.
The complementary colours and patterns in all four spaces flow together to create a sense of calm and cohesion in a busy home.
